About The Altech GT Challenge

The Altech GT Challenge originates from the Altech Porsche Unlimited Series. This series has run from 2002 in South Africa to 2008. It has been hugely successful in bringing together some of the finest and quickest racing cars seen in South Africa.

This series will bring a new chapter to motor racing in South Africa. The type of racing car, brand name,and the natural tie up with the racing categories abroad that follow the same concept of GT Type racing is already attracting various car manufacturers outside of Porsche and Ferrari.

The series stands to grow in numbers and will add something that has been lacking for a while. This will create an interest in motor sport again which is good for all who take part and love the sport for what it is.
